Imagine a world with out electricity. You couldn’t run your car, computer, laptop, house, phone and most importantly your Play station of Xbox.
But how do we get electricity?
First things first, we can’t just create energy out of nothing, but we can convert other resources into electricity. Some resources are renewable (re-usable) while others are not.
How do we generate electricity?
Everything in this world needs energy. From your car to phone, but how do we get energy. We can’t simple create energy but we can convert it.
Generators work to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy.
Non-renewable resources, such as crude oil, coal, Nuclear and gas, are resources which once consumed, can’t be re-used. They are resources which are in limited supply and come from the Earth itself.
They typically take thousands if not millions of years to develop.
If we burn 1 kg of coal, there is 1 kg less of coal in the world.
A renewable resource is a resource which is replaced naturally and can be used again and again. Solar, hydro and wind power are examples of renewable energy sources.
