Hypersensitivity

Sometimes the immune system over reacts and can cause a reaction to something which isn’t a threat. Like a peanut.

The immune system learns how to distinguish self from non self. Sometimes something goes wrong, and the immune cells start attacking healthy body cells. These are called Autoimmune disease.
