Genetics

The laws of genetics apply even if you refuse to learn them

(Alison Plowden)

Everything that you are right now, in some way has to do with your genetics. Your height, eye colour, your sense of smell and sight are all in some way, affected by your genetics.

If we break your entire genome down to its basics, its all just made up of 4 building blocks.

Adenine, Guanine, Thymine and Cytosine.

Its how these blocks are arranged and in what quantities, that makes us who we car. Every living thing from a bacteria to a rhinoceros is made of the exact same building blocks.

So how can we pass on so much information to our children?

So, how is it that we have billions of cells in our bodies, or that our skin cells can continue to grow and heal? The cells on your skin today are not the same ones that where there last week.

Cellular replication is a key part of cell life.
